Take Our Daughters and Sons To Work® Day Event
The ICSEW is pleased to provide information and resources to benefit state staff and their children throughout Washington State employment. This Web site is a resource for agency Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work® Day (TODSTW®D) coordinators as well as all state staff who wish to participate in the national day.
"I encourage all state agencies to participate in this worthwhile program. It is a great way to show our appreciation for state employees and their children."
--Governor Christine Gregoire
PAST TODSTW®D
Last year, Governor Gregoire proclaimed May 22nd as Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work® Day. Children accompanied by an adult were invited to attend the activities at the Capitol Building from 8:30 until 12 noon.
Over 600 children received a passport and learned about state careers as they traveled the state government offices to receive their passport stamps.
